Art.42.(1) - Deputies and senators receive, during the exercise of their mandate, a monthly allowance, established by law.

Art.41 - (1) Deputies and senators present at the sessions of the Parliament, who do not have their residence in Bucharest or Ilfov County, receive a travel allowance, per day, of 2% of the gross monthly allowance provided for deputy or senator; (3) The travel allowance provided in paragraph (1) benefits deputies and senators who:

Art. 41. - (2) Deputies and senators who do not have their residence in the city of Bucharest or Ilfov County are granted a monthly allowance, during the exercise of their mandate, based on a declaration on their own responsibility which represents a justifying document, a fixed sum from the budget of the Chamber of Deputies and, respectively, the Senate, for covering the costs of accommodation in the city of Bucharest. The amount is set by the joint permanent offices of the two Chambers, in function of the budgetary resources, but not less than half of the gross allowance of the deputy, respectively of the senator;
(3) For the right to claim accommodation in the territory, in tourist units with a classification of no more than 4 stars, or for the reimbursement of accommodation costs by granting 2% of the gross monthly allowance for each night, benefit deputies and senators who:
1.perform travel within the country from the responsibility of the President of the Chamber of Deputies or the Senate, the permanent offices of the two Chambers, the permanent offices of the permanent committees or the leaders of the parliamentary groups;

Chapter II, Art. 9 Each senator benefits from a mobile phone in the GSM network, with a monthly subscription for national calls and data traffic included. The subscription fee is borne by the Senate, the cost of exceeding the limit is borne by the beneficiaries.

For members of the Permanent Bureau, parliamentary group leaders and the Secretary General of the Senate, the expenses for national calls are reimbursed at the level of the invoice issued by the service provider.
Access to roaming and international networks is permanent, the reimbursement from the Senate budget for these calls is made only for the period during which senators travel abroad for the purpose of performing their duties and only within the amount set out in Resolution no. 1/2003 of the joint permanent offices regarding the reimbursement of travel expenses abroad, chapter "Other expenses" (maximum 30% of the daily allowance and accommodation allowance in foreign currency).
Calls made on mobile phones used by senators who have been appointed to other positions are reimbursed within the limit of the subscription.

Art. 38 - (1) In order to exercise their mandate in electoral circumscriptions, deputies and senators are granted a monthly allowance from the budget of the Chamber of Deputies and, respectively, the Senate for expenses related to the organization and functioning of parliamentary offices.
The modalities for granting and justifying this are regulated by Resolution no. 5/2013 of the joint permanent offices for the approval of the Rules on the use and justification of the allowance for expenses related to the organization and functioning of parliamentary offices.
TYPES OF EXPENSES THAT CAN BE REIMBURSED:
EXPENSES WITH SALARIES OF PERSONNEL EMPLOYED IN PARLIAMENTARY OFFICES:
• net salaries paid to employees and collaborators on a state basis of payment;
• sums transferred to the budgets and centralized funds of the state:
a.income tax;
b.individual health contribution;
c.individual social security contribution;
d.individual unemployment contribution;
e.social security contribution for work owed by the employer;
EXPENSES FOR GOODS AND SERVICES:
• rent for the offices of the parliamentary offices;
• electricity;
• natural gas;
• thermal energy and hot water;
• sanitation expenses;
• water and sewerage;
• other suppliers (e.g., gas for the office);
• gasoline, diesel, lubricants for car transport in constituency;
• consumables for computer;
• consumables for copying equipment;
• supplies and office materials;
• repair of goods from the equipment of the offices;
• publications and subscriptions to local and national press;
• announcements in mass media;
• inventory objects;
• cable or satellite subscription;
• postal shipments;
• medical services costs for hiring personnel in the offices;
• other services provided in the HBP of the Chamber of Deputies and Senate no. 5/2013 for the approval of the Rules on the use and justification of the allowance for expenses related to the organization and functioning of parliamentary offices.

• web page development and update;
• current repairs and disinfections carried out at the parliamentary offices;
